Writer’s Block (part 3)

writer's block doodleUp till now everything had been going smoothly. But when I reached the last fifty pages of the story, I realized I didn’t like the way it was turning out. I didn’t like the original ending at all. Now, the end of the story had to be rewritten, probably 80% of it anyway.

That’s when the brakes came on. How did I want to end this story? At this point I was faced with an entirely new set of problems, and drastically different character development. So there I sat, dead in the water. The problem was, I had three potential endings in mind. The original and two alternate endings. It should have been easy, but unfortunately, even on my alternate Universe Earth I imagined for the series, nobody had invented a three-sided coin I could flip!
